Mekong-Quilts is one of the most brilliant and successful programs of Mekong Plus (Belgian-French NGO).

First it creates many quality jobs for poor women, which is the top priority amongst the poor. On the average their incomes have doubled.

The products are of the highest quality thanks to the care of the quilters and the team doing the quality check and training. Mekong-Quilts has received training from several world famous quilt specialists.

At last, the Mekong-Quilts shops send all their profits to support development programs in the villages where the quilters live. Mekong-Quilts is thus supporting community development and everyone can join, not only a too small group of quilters.
